Our Story

The Balakrishnan Group started with a simple idea: property management should feel personal, not corporate. Mohini Balakrishnan has been a pillar of Bay Area real estate since 1989. When Nikil joined the business, he brought a tech-forward perspective shaped by years working in artificial intelligence and software. Together, they created something rare in property management: a team that combines deep local market knowledge with modern technology and marketing.

South Bay Rental Management was born from a recognition that the South Bay, with its 28+ distinct cities and micro-markets, demands a local specialist.
